Cutting test reads: Oi Osaka Nakano shima kura yashiki inada oo yamano suke juro hisa hide Kiowa ni nen sangatsu Futatsudo Kiri O Toshi (Cutting test in Osaka in March of 1802 with two bodies cut). Blade cutting edge is 27¾”. Long double grooves. Large notare. Hamon Ómaru Boshi. Sujikai Yasurime. Nakago has 2 holes. Tsuba is iron with floral pattern with insects, Menuki are floral motif with birds. Refrence Hawley p.891 (Uji 20, 21,22); Nihon Shinto Hen p.95 (199). Blade is in full polish.
