Whitney Kennedy Lever Action .44-40 caliber rifle. Unusual gun with the half magazine and the S lever shaped. Good blue on the frame. Barrel is nice and sharp, but is mostly turned to a smooth blue/brown patina mix. There are traces of blue in protected areas. Wood is very good. There is a small well hidden repair at tow. Bore has strong rifling and no major pitting. Very interesting gun with rare configuration!
