Colt No. 5 Texas Paterson revolver with loading lever. Very rare. Serial number 139. 7 1/2" barrel gun with a round back cylinder and 3 piece loading lever. Smooth gray to brown patina on metal surfaces. Extremely hard to find and considered the most popular of all of the Paterson handguns. Action works perfectly and actually locks up. Bore is very good and has correct 11 groove rifling. This gun was formally out of the famous Paul Sorrell collection and is pictured in The Paterson Colt Book by R.L. Wilson on page 147. Great gun with great provenance!
