Mauser 98 8 MM Mauser caliber rifle. 1944 production. Mauser Werke Borgiswalde receiver used by Mauser Werke Oberndorf to assemble a complete rifle. It has the Eagle/135 Final Acceptance proof on the top of the receiver. Matching serial numbers except for the rod, handguard, band spring and rear sight part which are not numbered. Very good bore. About 70% blue with patina. The wood is good. Original sling. About very good overall and hard to find.
