Springfield 1898 .30-40 Krag caliber rifle. 1900 cartouche. The bore has strong rifling but is dark. Very old military style sling. The wood shows dents and dings but no cracks. The wood is marked props at the butt plate. Possibly a movie gun? Good overall condition.
