Colt 1911 U.S. Navy .45 ACP caliber pistol. U.S. Navy Colt Model 1911. Shipped to the Brooklyn Navy Yard, August 8, 1913. This pistol has a worn bore. It has rifling and corrosion in the grooves. Grips are very good and sharp. The action works perfectly. Note: this pistol besides needing a barrel also needs the correct knurled slide stop (this slide stop is serrated). The pistol has been touched up blued and looks very good. This 1913 dated pistol is priced reasonably at $4250.00. Hard to find, looks good, fills a hole in your collection and will not cost you $10,000.
