Marlin Model 1891, Second Variation, .32 Rimfire Lever Action Rifle (AL5103)

Marlin Model 1891, second variation, .32 Rimfire lever action rifle. Rifle has scarce 24” round barrel with good bore, some areas of roughness. The barrel, magazine tube and forend tip have approximately 95% blue. The receiver has approximately 50% finish turning brown. The butt plate is a smooth brown. Traces of case colors are on the lever and hammer. Stocks are fine with no cracks or chips, and a handful of dents to be expected on a gun that was used. The action works correctly. Interestingly, a firing pin change turns this gun into a .32 Center Fire only. About one in six Model 1896’s had round barrels. This would be a nice addition to any Marlin or lever action collection.
