Winchester 1885 High Wall .22 LR (W10789)

Winchester 1885 High Wall .22 LR caliber musket-rifle. Scarce Winchester High Wall .22 LR musket. 28” Round barrel with a very good bore with some roughness toward the muzzle. The barrel is blue/brown. The remaining metal has a smooth brown patina. Stocks are very good with no cracks or chips and with scattered usage dents. The rear sight is the correct 1901 Krag rifle sight. Action functions correctly. The takedown mechanism will function but is very tight. This one is missing from many Winchester .22 collections especially in Takedown.
