Rare Piece of Civil War Identified Relic with Colt 1849 Pocket. Here is a bit of Civil War History! This wood backed display features a cocked musket lock, musket trigger guard, Sixth Cavalry Crossed Swords Cap Badge, two flattened musket balls and best of all a loaded Colt 1849 Pocket model with hammer resting on a percussion cap (all nipples are capped). Taped to the back of the wood is a description of the relics stating that in 1995 they were excavated at the site of the Battle of the Wilderness. Rare piece of Civil War identified relics.
