Winchester 1873 .38-40 caliber rifle. Made in 1894. Has a 24” .38-40 caliber octagon barrel. Metal has approximately 70% original blue mixed with an even grayish/plum patina. This gives an overall consistent appearance. Wood is excellent. Bore has very sharp rifling with some minor spots of pitting. Very fine all original Winchester 1873 rifle!
