Overall length is approximately 45½”. The 30” octagon .38 Rimfire caliber barrel has an excellent bore. The barrel has approximately 98% blue. The action and butt plate have strong case colors. The stocks are very fine with 98% plus finish, no cracks or chips. The forend has a Schnabel horn tip, small right upper piece missing. The action functions correctly. This is a stunning example of a Whitney No.1 sporting rifle.
