Scarce Winchester Model 06 Half-nickel Expert Rifle (W11060)

The Model 06 Expert rifle was made form 1917 to 1924, and were assembled from available parts for several years thereafter. They feature a pistol grip stock and a slide handle which is flared at each end. Some, like this rifle, also had a nickeled receiver and trigger housing. They are scarce today. This rifle has the standard 20" round barrel chambered in 22 short, long, or long rifle. The bore is excellent with bright visible rifling. The barrel has a smooth brown patina. It is equipped with the standard sights. The receiver and trigger housing, with matching numbers, are nickeled. Approx. 40% remains with the other areas being bright. The stocks are good with a mixture of original varnish and wear, a missing chip and dent on the pistol grip and other various dents, an absent screw on one side of the forearm, and an original but worn buttplate.
