Half Stock Percussion Rifle .40 Caliber (AL5568)
Circa 1850's-1860's. Rifle has a 34" barrel marked J Peters on to behind rear sight. Action does not hold cock. Double set adjustable triggers. Lock is marked Dayton and has a hunter game scene. Stock has nicely figured walnut. There is a small crack by the lock. Metal has a gray and brown patina. Comes with a display case. A neat set up.
