Custom Springfield 1873 Trapdoor .45-70 (AL5598)

Rifle has been altered to a sporting rifle. This a very nice alteration of an Indian Wars model 1873. The new 32" octagonal barrel has an excellent bore and all its blue finish. The new stock is fine with all parts fitting nicely. The trigger guard and butt plate are custom made. The receiver and lock have a pleasing patina. The front sight is a sporting style. The action functions properly. An interesting alteration of quality work!
