Winchester 1866 Rifle (AW104)

Made in 1878. Has 24 inch octagon barrel in .44 Rimfire caliber. The barrel of this gun has a smooth plum brown patina with blue in protected areas. The frame is nice and sharp with a nice patina. This is a 4^th model gun and one of the guns that was using up the carbine frames. Wood is very fine, forearm has one small crack on the left hand side. The upper tang has a very well done repair by the screw area. Very fine Winchester 1866 Rifle!
