English Durrs Egg Saw Handle Dueling Pistol (AH6329)

Approximately .58 caliber. Barrel length is 9.25" and overall length is 15.25". The barrel has a fine Damascus pattern. The breech plug has gold and silver bands. The gold makers sink is marked "London". The top barrel flat is marked "D. Egg. London". The trigger guard is engraved and the finial is a pineapple, which is somewhat common to several English gunsmiths. The stock is French walnut and is well figured. The "saw handle" shaped pistol grip was favored by several quality makers of the English duelers. The stock is excellent with fine checkering and most of it's original varnish. The lock, breech tang, trigger guard and cock are all engraved. This is a fine saw handle dueler made by an iconic master gun maker.
