Italian Navy Belt Pistol (AH6398)

This large 69 caliber Italian Navy percussion pistol is equipped with a 3.75" belt hook. The overall length is approx. 20". The 13.25" round barrel has fine bright rifled bore with a few areas of light erosion. The barre retains its smooth bright finish with areas of staining. It has a front sight but there is no rear sight. The left flat has a crown over shield and a crown over an indistinct figure proof marks. The right flat at the bolster is stamped TA 1864. The bolster has a small oval sunk stamp with a crown over RA . The lock is unmarked. The lock, hammer, nose cap, belt hook, and ramrod are bright with light staining. The brass trigger guard and butt cap are fine. The dark stained (approx. 98% remaining) beech stock is fine with sharp edges and no cracks or chips. The action functions correctly.
