Colt Medium Frame Lightning Rifle (AC154)

Serial Number 20219. Made in 1887.  32-20 caliber with a 26” barrel. Beautiful gun in very fine condition. Barrel and magazine tube have 90% of the original blue. The frame has 50% of the original blue. All markings are very good and visible. Wood is excellent. This gun appears to have once have a tang sight with an unfilled screw hole and a slight raised tang screw. This gun also has a flip up beech front sight. This is a first model rifle with the safety in the front portion of the trigger guard. Bore is very fine with a bright shiny bore and only one area we see of very minor pitting in the grooves. Very fine example of a First Model Rifle!
