Serial Number 7. 41 caliber with an 8” barrel. This gun has a dark chocolate colored patina throughout. All markings and engraving are visible. Grips are original, and in good overall condition. Action works well. Follower is a replacement. Bore is very good with strong rifling and some spots of pitting. These guns were the precursor to the Winchester and was also Smith & Wesson’s first foray into the firearms industry.
