This double barrel percussion pistol is unmarked but is most likely French. The overall length is approx. 13.5". The 8" round approx. 50 caliber rifled barrels have very good bores with frosting in the grooves. The barrels are bright with light roughness. There is a silver band at the patent breech. The locks, hammers, breech top, and tang feature decorative engraving. The locks and hammers are bright with very light staining. The brass furniture are fine with even wear. The stock is very good with light usage marks, no cracks or chips and S over 35 stamped forward of the trigger guard. The two trigger action functions correctly. This is an interesting rifled double barrel percussion pistol at a reasonable price.
