Circa 1830. This is a Helmet Head Pommel sword with a 25 ½” blade with a acid etched blade. Hilt is cast brass with a shield on the guard with 13 stars for the original 13 colonies. The grip is fluted ivory. The scabbard is a period replacement and the scabbard is longer than the sword.
