S&W Model No. 1 1/2 Second Issue Revolver (AH6485)
The Smith & Wesson 32 rimfire long caliber Model No. 1 1/2 (also known as the New Model 1 1/2) was made from 1868 to 1875. It features a fluted five-shot cylinder and birds head grips. The 3.5" barrel has a good rifled bore with moderate erosion in the grooves. Approx. 80% of the nickel finish remains with flaking on a couple of chambers, to the front of the cylinder on both sides, at the muzzle, and on various high spots. The mother of pearl grips are checkered and engraved in a leaf pattern along the edges. The bottom of the left grip has a small chip. The grips are very attractive. The barrel and frame are tight. The action functions correctly. With its attractive mother of pearl grips, this is a very attractive Smith & Wesson No. 1 1/2. It would be perfect for any S&W collection.
