Colt Single Action Army Revolver in .38 W.C.F. (C16914)
This 38 W.C.F. (38-40) Colt Single Action Army is circa 1910. The 4.75" barrel has an excellent bore. The barrel retains approx. 85% blue with spotting on the left side where it apparently rested in a box. The cylinder has approx. 90% blue with scattered spotting. The backstraps are a gray-brown. The frame and hammer show traces of case colors but are mostly silver. The hard rubber rampant Colt grips are fine with no cracks or chips. The gun is tight and the action functions correctly. This is a very presentable 111 year old Colt Single Action Army revolver.
