Manufactured in 1898. Barrel is 4.75". Note: black powder range serial number, do not shoot with smokeless powder. Bore has strong rifling with frosting in the grooves. Action works perfectly. Markings are visible. Metal has a mostly gray patina. Good overall condition. Reasonably priced 1st gen.
