Remington 31 Special Skeet with Cutts Compensator 12 Gauge (S12881)

Special order Skeet pump gun with solid rib and factory Cutts Compensator, made in 1947. The barrel has no choke marking, indicating it was made with the Cutts Compensator, which has a Spreader choke installed. The stock is hand checkered with beavertail forend. The metal is very good with about 92% original blue. The stock has some marks and wear, and has a recoil pad added. The LOP is 13.5". An interesting vintage sporting gun.
