Beautiful Double Barrel French Flintlock Pistol (AH6092)

Very fine early French double barrel flintlock pistol. This gun is circa 1770. 48 caliber with a 3 ¼” barrels. Metal is very good as cleaned and with some pitting. Locks are marked “Je Suis Fidelle” which translates into “Always Faithful” Wood is very good with silver wire inlays along with nicely executed carvings around the tang and bordering the trigger guard. Very nice example of an early French Double barrel flintlock!
