Made in 1895. 40-70 caliber with a 26” barrel. Very sharp barrel with a light brown patina. Metal has been cleaned. Frame is nice and sharp and has a gray patina. Wood is very good. Rare caliber with only 800 guns made in 40-70 and these do not surface very often. Action works well and bore has strong rifling with some pitting. This gun comes with a Winchester verification sheet.
