Civil War surgeons kit for battle field use. Two bone saws, four surgical knives, tenaculum hook instrument for handling arteries, pliers for cutting joints and tourniquet. There is a compartment for sutures. All of the handles are of checkered wood. Brass plate on lid is initialed "FLP". Overall condition is excellent. No rust. Case is solid, no looseness or separated corners.
