Rogers & Spencer Civil War Revolver (AH6759)
Price: $3,550.00
Item Number:
AH6759
Sales Pending

The Union contracted for 5,000 Rogers & Spencer percussion revolvers in late 1864. They were delivered too late for use in the Civil War. The 7.5" octagon 44 caliber barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The top strap is marked ROGERS & SPENCER over UTICA N.Y. The revolver retains approx. 95% of its original bright blue with the cylinder starting to fade. The hammer and loading lever have faded case colors. The frame, barrel, and cylinder are sub-inspected. The grips are excellent with a strong cartouche. The action functions correctly. This very fine Rogers & Spencer revolver is ready for your collection!
