1912 Erfurt Military Luger (PR55024)

The 9mm 1908 Model military dated Erfurt Lugers were made for the German military. They can be identified by the ERFURT inscription on the toggle, the year date (1911-1913) over the chamber, the lack of a stock lug, and military proofs. 21,000 were manufactured by Erfurt in 1912. With the exceprion of the correct type mismatched wood base magazine, this fine 1912 exampls is all matiching including the grips and firing pin. It has the added matching hold open. This pistol has approx. 97% blue and straw colored parts. Many of the small parts have the Erfurt inspection stamp. The bore is excellent with bright, strong rifling. The matching grips are excellent. The action functions correctly. This is a super example of the scarce 1912 dated Erfurt German military Luger.
