DWM 1928 Dutch Navy Luger (PR55019)
Only 1,484 1928 DWM Dutch Navy Lugers were produced. They are numbered from 1 to 1,484. They can be identified by the DWM scroll on the toggle, the lack of a grip safety, the thumb safety marked RUST with a downward pointing arrow, and commercial crown over N proofs. This pistol's 4" 9mm barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun retains approx. 97% blue and 90% straw finish. The full serial number, 1335, is on the bottom of the barrel and the front of the frame. The last two digits are on the breechblock, extractor, toggle links, ldft side of the receiver, side plate, takedown lever, and trigger. The grips and aluminum base magazine are unnumbered. The grips are fine with very light wear. The action functions correctly. This is the best example of this rare Luger we have seen.
