THis is a typical 1919 commercial in 7.65mm (30 Luger) with a blank chamber, DWM scroll toggle marking, crown over N proofs, stock lug, and serial number of 78796. The 1919 DWM comercial Luger serial number range is 74845 to 92000 for the 7.65mm guns. The 3 5/8" barrel has a fine bore with light firing wear. The gun has approx. 98% blue and 90% straw finish. The right sidde of the receiver is marked GERMANY. The barrel and frame carry the full serial number and the small parts are a mix of numbered and unnumbered parts which is typical for the 1919 commercial. The GERMANY marked unnumbered wood base magazine is very good,. The grips are excellent. The action functions correctly. This is a fine example of the 1919 commercial Luger.
