Smith & Wesson Double Action Frontier .44-40 Win (AH6691)

DA/SA, six-shot, break-open revolver with 6" barrel. Cylinder is correct with double stop notches (also known as locking notches.) Bore is good with shallow pitting near the muzzle. The action works perfectly and locks up on time. The barrel marking are sharp and clear. This revolver was refinished long ago. This "D.A. Frontier" is the model and caliber known to be carried by Belle Starr, the Bandit Queen of the Indian territory. Additionally, legendary pistolero John Wesley Hardin was known to carry a pistol such as this. This is overall a very good condition model.
