Walther ac 41 First Variation P.38 9mm (PR55069)
This is a very fine example of a first variation ac 41 Walther P.38 manufactured from January into March 1941. It is all matching and has the proper eagle over 359 military proofs throughout, including the small parts. It has approx. 95% of its original high polish blue finish with some lightly pitted and touched up areas on the front of the left side of the slide.. The sllide is marked from front to back P.38 followed by ac over 41 followed by the serial number, 4472a. The left side of the trigger guard has the ac Walther company code. The bore is fine with good rifling and light firing wear. The original dark brown grips are properly marked on the inside and are in fine condition. The unnumbered magazine has P.38 on the left side and two eagle over 359 inspection stamps on the spine. The action functions correctly. This is a scarce pistol, especially in fine condition like this one.
