Mauser Two Tone byf 44 P.38 9mm (PR55070)
This is an excellent example of a two tone Mauser P.38 manufactured between July and December 1944.. It gets its two tone appearance from its phosphate frame and slide and a blued barrel. Collectors call these the second alphabet run, second variation. It is all matching and has the correct eagle over WaA135 military proofs. It has approx. 98% of its original phosphate and blue finish. The bore is excellent with bright, strong rifling. The unnumbered P.38 marked magazine is blued and has an eagle over 135 on the spine. The original brown plastic grips are excellent. The action functions correctly. These two tone P.38 byf 44 pistols are very hard to find in the condition that this gun is in.
