Colt 1917 Civilian .45ACP (C17571)

Six-round, double action Colt revolver with 5.5" barrel. This is the civilian version of the U.S. 1917 service revolver, marked "Colt Model 1917 .45 AUTO CTGE." on the barrel. Only about 1000 were made in 1932. The bore is excellent. The revolver has 98% of its original factory blue. The action works perfectly. The revolver has excellent Colt "Oval" style grips. Overall this is an excellent example of a civilian model Colt 1917!
