Springfield 1892 Krag Rifle with 1896 Conversion (AL7211)

Serial number 6002. 30-40 caliber with a 30” barrel. This is a very early 1892 Model that has been converted into a 1896 configuration. This is an original 1892 model stock with the ram rod channel filled. The barrel has a mottled blue finish. The receiver has an even gray patina. Wood is excellent with nice sharp cartouches. Very fine early gun!
