Rare Smith & Wesson 56 U.S. Air Force .38 Special (PR56347)

Ultra rare Smith & Wesson K38 Combat model with 2" barrel, made under special contract for the U.S. Air Force in 1962. Although 15,000 of these guns were made, most of them were later destroyed by the Air Force. Only a handful are known to have survived. This gun has 90% original blue remaining. The grips are very good with some marks and wear. The bore and action are excellent. If you collect U.S. military issue Smith & Wesson revolvers, you need this gun in your collection!
