1917 Date DWM Model 1914 Artillery P.08 Luger (PR57113)

The WWI Imperial German P.08 9mm DWM artillery Luger pistol was made from 1914 through 1918. This example is dated 1917 on the chamber. The 8" barrel has a very good bore with firing wear. The acjustable rear sight, numbered to the gun, is correct for the artillery model. The gun retains approx. 90% blue with touch up in some areas and scattered freckling. The straw parts retain approx. 75% finish. All parts, including the firing pin, match. The unnmubered grips are fine with light wear but no cracks or chips. The action functions properly. The Model 1914 artillery P.08 is a key WWI German small arm. It is a must for any WWI collection.
