Colt Officers Model Second Issue Revolver (C17654)

This 38 Special Colt Officers Model second issue revolver is circa 1911. It is a beautiful pre-WWI Colt revolver. The 7.5" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun has approx. 98% of its Colt high luster blue. All markings are sharp and clear. The last patent date on the barrel is July 4, 05, making this a second issue Officers Model. It has the standard adjustable front and rear sights. The checkered walnut grips, without the inset Colt medallions whidh didn't appear until 1913, are excellent with no cracks or chips. The action functions correctly. This gun is fit for the finest collection.
