While most MAB Model D pistols were chambered in 7.65mm (32ACP), this Model D is chambered in 9mm Kurz (380ACP). The 4" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun has approx. 96% blue. The left side of the slide is marked PISTOLET AUTOMATIQUE MAB BREVETE over MODELE D followed by a small 38 (signifying the caliber). The right side of the slide is marked MADE IN FRANCE FOR W.A.C. (Western Arms Co., Los Angeles). The serial number is on the right above the trigger. The checkered black plastic grips, with the MAB logo, are fine with very light wear. It is equipped with the correct magazine. The action, including the magazine and grip safety, functions correctly. This is a very nice 380ACP MAB Model D.
