This Swedish AG42B is dated 1943. The 10-shot AG42 saw limited use by the Swedish Army from 1942 into the 1960s. About 30,000 were manufactured by the Carl Gustafs Stads Gevarsfaktori in Eskilstuna. The 6.5X55mm Swedish caliber barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The gun has approx. 90% blue finish wiht the action cover faded to a blue-gray. The left side of the receiver is marked 19 crown over C 43 with the serial number below. The stock and forearm are fine with light usage dents and dings. There are import marks on the barrel in the muzzle area. The brass sighting disc on the right butt is intact and appears to indicate that the rifle will shoot to the point of aim. The sling swivels and ramrod are present. The action functions correctly. This is a very nice example to the Swedish Ljungman rifle.
