Persian Model 98/29 Mauser Rifle (R29984)

About 180,000 7.92X57mm (8mm Mauser) Persian Model 98/29 Mauser Rifle were manufactured by Brno in Czechslovakia between 1931 and 1938. The 29.1" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The metah has approx. 98% blue. The Persian crest is on the top of the chamber and all markings, with the exception of the translated serial number on the right rear of the receiver, are in Farsi. The stock, with matching serial number, is excellent with a blank disc on the right butt. The cleaning rod and swivels are present. The stacking swivel is absent. The action functins correctly. This is a very nice example of the Model 98/29 Persian Mauser.
