Gwynn & Campbell Type 1 Civil War Carbine (AL7058)
Serial number 671. Made in 1863 – 1864. 52 caliber with a 20” barrel. Gun has a nice even brown patina. Wood is good. Action works well. Bore has strong rifling with pitting. The type ones are distinguished by the larger loops on the serpentine loading lever.
