Special Order Factory Engraved Presentation Winchester 1892 Takedown 32-20 (W11518)

Serial number 326561. Made in 1906. 32-20 caliber with a 24” barrel. This gun has been refinished and probably at the factory.  This gun is in excellent condition as refinished. This gun is factory engraved and the engraving is nice and sharp. This gun is also a takedown. Wood is very fine as refinished. This gun is factory carved in the D pattern. The butt stock is highly figured and has beautiful feathering in the grain. The left hand side of the gun has a presentation plate that reads “Ida from Will/ Dec. 25, 1905”.  This gun had sling swivels that have since been refilled. The hammer and the trigger are both gold plated. This gun comes with a factory letter. This gun letters as 25-20 and you can faintly see in the barrel where there was a 25-20 marking, however this gun is in 32-20 and is stamped 32-20. This is a factory error as this gun was never converted to 32-20 from 25-50.  This gun was featured in The Winchester Repeater spring 2004 edition. Very fine ultra deluxe gun!
