Serial Number 858 circa 1838-1841 with a 525 smoothbore caliber with a 24" barrel. Metal is a brown/grey patina with address faintly visible. Loading lever has been replaced with a clone and aged. Action functions correctly. Stock is good with some dings and nicks present. An affordable Colt Paterson carbine
