


















Serial number 14501. Made in 1863. 36 caliber with a 7 ½” barrel. Beautiful factory engraved gun with most of the original silver plating. Both the cylinder and the hammer are gold plated. All of the cylinder scene remains. Grips are beautiful checkered ivories with a relief carved bust of a Zouave soldier. The inside of the trigger guard has the inscription of “Capt. Geo. Washburn” This gun is cased with beautiful accessories; the flask has most of the original silver.. This is a deluxe case with brass bound corners. The escutcheon plate is inscribed “Capt Geo. Washburn/ 133d Regt./ N. Y. Vol.” This cased set comes with US Model 1850 Foot Officers sword, Sword shows a fair amount of use. The throat of the sord is inscribed “Presented/ To/ Lieut. Geo. Washburn/ by his Friends/ of the first platoon of the/ 27th Police Precinct/ New York Sept 10th 1862” Beautiful set!
