The Joslyn rifle was the first breech-loading cartridge rifle to be made in quantity at a national arsenal. It was designed to fire the 50-60-450 rimfire cartridge made by Frankford Arsenal. This rifle has a poor bore, brown overall patina, and a poor stock. The stock is missing a big chunk at the lower right butt. The action functions.
