Wells Fargo Marked Colt Single Action Army (C18087)

Serial number 259803. Made in 1904. 45 LC with a  4 ¾” barrel. This is a very fine gun with approximately 50% of the original blue. The case colors are very good. Grips are good as well, but are off an earlier gun. They match the condition of this gun however. The right hand side of the frame has the Wells Fargo Marking. It is no0t typical from the standard Wells Fargo marking and this gun was not shipped to the Wells Fargo Purchasing Agent William Ashton. We do not guarantee the marking. This gun comes with a Factory letter confirming the configuration and it was shipped to J. F. Schmelzer & Sons Arms Company in Kansas City, Mo.
