Colt Whitneyville Hartford Dragoon (AC529)

Serial number 1194. 44 caliber with a 7 ½” barrel. Made in 1847. Very rare gun, much more rare than a Colt Walker. This gun has the Walker style cut outs in the grips which is the most desirable of the three types of cut outs in this model. Metal has an even gray patina. Cylinder has visible restored scene and the number on the cylinder was freshened. Grips are very good. Very rare early Colt made right after the famed Colt Walker!
